Nettleton - LINDA FRANCES GILLENTINE, 58, died Monday, October 15, 2007, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an eleven year battle with breast cancer. She was born December 12, 1948, in Pascola, Missouri to the late Lynn Warren Blackburn and Leona Woodard Blackburn Hall. She worked for Action Industries and Peoplelounger. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, cooking, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Assembly.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. John (Ben) Raper and Ben Raper officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husbanhd of 41 years, David Gillentine of Nettleton; three daughters, Stephanie Hodo and husband, Allen, of Waynesboro; Tammy Gomez and husband, Victor A., of Nettleton, and Mary Frances Timmons and husband, Tommy, of Guntown; four sisters, Virginia Hendershot and Johanna Fields, both of Hati, Missouri, Jane Ross and husband, Newt, of Lakeland, Florida, and Nellie Criddle of Verona; three brothers, Billy Hall and wife, Margaret, of Amory, Stanley Blackburn and Ronald Blackburn both of Orlando, Florida; six grandchilren, David and Will Hodo, Noah Christopher Gomez, and Noah Thomas, Jacob, and Luke Timmons; and her father-in-law, Earl W. Gillentine and wife, Elaine, of Nettleton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Her grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
