LINDA EDWARDS Tupelo - Linda Edwards, 56, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Ripley after an extended illness. She was born July 20, 1959, to Earl and Shirley Green. Linda enjoyed listening to music, especially rock and roll. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, John Edwards of Tupelo; children, Leslie Nicole, Alexandria and John Edwards, Jr.; sister, Delisa Stennett; brothers, John Ashley Mauldin and Bobby Mauldin, Jr.; step-father, Bobby Mauldin. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Green, mother, Shirley Mauldin, and grandparents, Howard and Lucille Gaines. Pallbearers will be Glen Gaines, Terry Sellers, Robert Seymore, Larry Gaines, John Ashley Mauldin and Richard Gaines. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at W.
