Linda Dunn

Mooreville - Linda F. Dunn, 60, went home to her Heavenly Father, Monday, December 6, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Tupelo native, she was born April 13, 1950, to Clyde and Winona Timms Spencer. For 17 years she worked with V.F. Jeanswear where she drove as a team driver with her husband. She loved spending time with family and friends and caring for her dog "Petey". A hummingbird enthusiast, she enjoyed watching and feeding them. Prior to declining health, she enjoyed camping. She was a member of Eastern Star and Living Waters Community Church.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jack Washington and Rev. Horace Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Eddie Dunn of Mooreville; her children, Belinda Capps (Ralph) of Mooreville, James Lyles (Julie) of Abbyville, and Sasha Wood (Scott) of Mooreville; two step-children, Mike Dunn (Tammy) of Guntown, and David Dunn of Tupelo; two sisters, Beth Mink of Mathiston and Charlotte Pettigo of Saltillo; two brothers, David spencer of Auburn Community and Raymond spencer of Denham Springs, LA;10 grand-children, Courtney Haynes (Justin), Jordan Hinton, Maddi Capps, Addi Capps all of Mooreville, Corey Lyles and Brooke Lyles both of Abbyville, Michael Dunn, Kristen Dunn, and Ben Dunn of Guntown, and David Dunn, II of Plantersville; one great-grandchild, Abbi Haynes of Mooreville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Sam Taylor, Steve Webb, Ken Frayser, Danny Lucuis, Bill Jones and Rickey Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the truck drivers with V. F. Jeanswear.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the funeral home.
