Tupelo - Lenteen "Lynne" Todd, 85, died Thursday, April 14, 2011, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Fulton, Ky., she was born March 7, 1926, to Lennis and Mary Shuck Williams. During World War II, She served as a WAVE in the US Navy. She worked as a bookkeeper and also as a real estate agent. She lived in California for over 20 years and had lived in Tupelo the past fourteen years.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Father Tom Lalor officiating.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Todd (Regina) of Tupelo and John W. Frederick (Lee Ann) of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Jimmy W. Williams of Pahrump, Nevada and Bob Williams of Jackson, Tenn.; four grandsons and one granddaughter; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Frederick Miles; a sister, Geraldine Clayton;and two brothers, Boyd E. Williams and Joseph Williams.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
