LELER V. EDDINGTON Kalkaska, Michigan - Leler V. Eddington, formerly of Shannon, 82, died Monday, May 11, 2015, at her daughter's residence. She was born in Cullman, Alabama on September 17, 1932, to Charlie Edgar and Daisy Baker Chandler, and was raised by her step-mother, Bessie. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and was an inspiration and encourager to all. Some of the things she enjoyed was gardening, working with flowers, and quilting. By faith she was a Baptist. Leler was very much loved by many and will be greatly missed. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2015, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Minister Chad Ramsey officiating. Graveside services will follow in Eddington Cemetery in Pontotoc. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Titus of Shannon and Gail Wilson (Richard Miller) of Kalkaska, Michigan; adopted daughter, Yvonne Williams of Fife Lake, Michigan; two sisters, Catherine Williamson of West Memphis, Arkansas and Betty Fields (Norman) of Hayden, Alabama; one brother, Otis C. Dyer (Lucy) of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Jasen LaFayette of Burton, Michigan, Henry LaFayette, III of Shannon, Jamie Lee Rohde of Mancelona, Michigan, Jeanette Marie Humphrey (Shawn) of Kalkaska, Michigan, James Leach Wilson, IV (Erica) of Kalkaska, Michigan; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher David T. LaFayette of Interlochen, Michigan, Jared Douglas Rohde (Molly), Sylvia Raelene McFadden (Wesley), and Garrett James Rohde, all of Mancelona, Michigan, Jessica Lynn Humphrey of Alpena, Michigan, Amber Lee Humphrey, and Kristin Marie Wilson both of Kalkaska, Michigan; four great-great-grandchildren, Xzavior Leon Rohde, Zelda Jean Rohde and Isaac Richard McFadden all of Mancelona, Michigan and Mallory Mae Litwinski who is soon to be born. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. "Cub" Eddington; her parents, Charlie E. Chandler and Daisy Chandler; step-mother, Bessie Chandler; and numerous brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Henry LaFayette, III, Richard Miller, Tony Henderson, Josh Vaught, Shawn Humphrey and Garrett Rohde. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo and continued 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday.
