Lee Weston

August 30, 1995 — August 16, 2007

TUPELOLee Weston Reed died Thursday, August 16, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was 11 years old.

Weston was born August 30, 1995 to Lee Jackson Reed and Julia Crowell Reed. He was a 6th grader at Tupelo Christian Preparatory School and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tupelo

Weston loved life and everyone he came in contact with knew him as a friend. He was an excellent student and athlete and a beloved brother and son. He was a proud member of the Chesterville Badgers baseball team and the Tupelo Football Club 96 Boy's Select Soccer Team. He enjoyed wakeboarding, golf and fishing.

Weston will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his genuine love for family and friends and his compassion for his fellow man. He was wise beyond his years.

He leaves behind his parents, Lee and Julia Reed, his sisters, Anna Claire Reed and Kimberly D. Mackey; grandparents Ray and Janice Reed and Mickey and Pat Crowell. Also surviving him are his aunts and uncles, Kim and Ray Reed, Jr., Carol and Malone Vaughan and his cousins, Will Reed, Lauren Reed, Leslie Reed and Lucie Reed.

A celebration of Weston's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18th at the First United Methodist Church. Visitation will follow in Wesley Hall. Graveside services will be for immediate family only. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Keith Adams, Mike Asters, Todd Buskirk, Matt Clayton, Phillip Gough, Skipper Holliman, Jeff McGregor, Eddie Parker, Greg Roy, and John Wheeler
