LEE HARRIS Mooreville - Lee Harris, 58, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at his residence. A Lee County native, he was born March 30, 1955, to Harold Bell and Lillie Ghosie Harris. He served as a truck driver for many years. Lee enjoyed watching western movies and was an immeasurable Elvis Presley fan. He loved his family and cherished time spent with them. A celebration of life for Lee Harris will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2013, in The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. David Hendricks officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors will be in charge of the arrangements. Lee is survived by his girlfriend of nineteen years, Shirley Anderson of Mooreville; six children, Harold Lee Harris of Mooreville, James Harris (Kristie) of Mooreville, Brandy Leigh Harris of Plantersville, Misty Nichole Harris of Plantersville, Thomas Brandon Harris (Nancy) of Plantersville and Brandi Lecole Brazil (Scotty) of Mooreville; nineteen grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Sheffield of Tupelo; one brother, Delta Wayne Harris and wife of Chikasaw, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lizzie Mae Tallent. The family will receive friends 12 p.m. noon till service time Monday, September 2, 2013, at the funeral home.
