MOOREVILLE - Lawrence Terry, 70, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at his home in Mooreville. He retired after 26 years with the Lee County Landfill and Solid Waste Department. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at W.E. Pegues Funeral Home in Tupelo. Bro. Wayne Thorn and Bro. Danny Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Boguefala Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home of Baldwyn is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Edward Terry (Kim) and Gregg Terry, both of Fulton; his grandchildren, Jon Terry, Michael Terry, Laura Terry and Brittney Petriee; and his great-grandchildren, Cayson Lamar Terry and Brayden Wyatt Terry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Clara Mae Webb Terry.
Pallbearers will be J.E. Marcy, Buddy Williams, John Terry, Anthony Lyle, Paul Lyle and Max Berryhill.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Round Table Coffee Drinkers at Linda and Til's Restaurant in Mooreville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at W.E. Pegues Funeral Home in Tupelo
