LAWRENCE FRANCIS COOK, JR. Saltillo - Lawrence Francis Cook, Jr., 66, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born October 29, 1947 in Charleston, SC. To Lawrence Francis Cook, Sr. and Queenie Vermella Browder Cook. Lawrence has lived in Saltillo for the past 15 years. He was a service technician for Roper Toyota. He serviced in the Marine Corp. during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an avid football fan especially Alabama crimson tide and enjoyed NASCAR. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors of Saltillo is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his mother, Queenie Cook of Charleston, SC.; two daughters, Renee Franklin (Jason) of Pearl and Mollye Cook of Saltillo; one son, Jason Cook of Daytona Beach, FL.; one brother, Wayne Cook (Wanda) of Charleston, SC. and six grandchildren, Alex Cook, Blake Cook, Stephen Cook, Brittany Banks, Haley Banks and Luke Bolton. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence F. Cook, Sr. and two brothers, Larry Cook and Raymond Cook.
