LARRY D. NEUHAUS
Tupelo - Larry D. Neuhaus, 67, died Monday, August 7, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Dallastown, Pennsylvania, he was born April 26, 1939 to the late Dana and Hilda Keller Neuhaus. He moved to Tupelo in 1969 with Reliance Panelyte as vice president of sales. He also owned Traceland Plaza Package Store and worked at Tri-State Lumber Co. as vice president.. He was a Master Mason of Masonic Lodge 318 and a 32 Scottish Rite in Corinth.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Andy Ray officiating. A private graveside service will follow.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shirley Neuhaus of Tupelo; two sons, Scott Neuhaus and wife, Ann, of Tupelo and Troy Neuhaus and wife, Robin, of Tupelo; seven grandchildren, Jake and Kathryn Neuhaus, Zeke and Allye Neuhaus, Morgan, Madison, and McKenzie Weatherford.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Ray Reed, Bill Vinson, Terry Pocklington, Ed Fandel, Frank Hays, Dr. Jimmy Ballard, Dr. Mitch Massey, and Dr. Bill Wood.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Schaper and Shelby Reed, Jr..
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
