BLUE MOUNTAIN - Larry Max Jones, 50, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Loma Linda, Calif., he was born Jan. 11, 1957, to Clifton Max Jones and the late Darla Horine Jones Insabella. He was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his sons.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the North Mississippi Medical Center Chapel with the Rev. Chris West officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include four children, Christy Jones Cottrell of California, Tim Davis and Kyle Jones of New Albany, and Sonny Jones of Blue Mountain; one sister, Janet Lawrence of Wausau, Wis.; one brother, Guy Jones of La Grande, Ore.; his father, Clifton Jones of La Grande, Ore.; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darla Mae Insabella.
