Larry D. Dunaway

LARRY D. DUNAWAY Saltillo - Larry D. Dunaway, 57, went to be with his heavenly father, Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness.  Larry was born in Marks, Mississippi on May 16, 1958 to Herman Dunaway and Iva Nell Watts Dunaway.  In Hamilton, Alabama on August 30, 1978 he married Charlotte Marie Stephens. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family and especially time spent with his grandchildren. Larry was a faithful member of The Church of God of Maple Springs, Mantachie, Mississippi. He enjoyed talking to people and loved witnessing. Larry traveled North Mississippi as an evangelist spreading the Lord’s word. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday March 4, 2016 at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jerry Dunaway, Rev. Sammy Scott and Rev. Dale Robinson officiating. Graveside service will be in Saltillo Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of thirty seven years, Charlotte Dunaway of Saltillo; his two sons, Josh Dunaway (Dana) and Anthony Dunaway (Stephanie) both of Saltillo; three grandchildren, Graycin Dunaway, Mason Dunaway and Anna Lauren Dunaway all of Saltillo; his mother, Nell Dunaway of Union County; three brothers, Jerry Dunaway (Linda) of Guntown, Jeff Dunaway (Mary) of Union County and Marty Dunaway (Katrina) of Guntown and brother-in-law, Glenn Harris of Saltillo. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Dunaway and sister, Shelia Harris. Pallbearers will be Matt Dunaway, Coty Dunaway, Michael Ballard, Buddy Watts, John Gooch, Jeff Scruggs and Rial Copeland. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 and 11 a.m. until service time Friday, March 4, 2016 at W.
