LAFOREST GEORGE Collierville, TN - Laforest Aloysius George (Laf) went to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 29, 2015. He was a long time resident of Tupelo and at the time of his death he was a resident of Collierville, Tennessee where he was an active member of his beloved Grace Crossing Church. Laf was a 1972 graduate of South Natchez High School where he lettered in football and tennis and was a member of the Order of Demolay and a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Social Work. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Laf George was larger than life, any and all that encountered him could see his childlike spirit and giving nature emanating through his smile and infectious laughter. An exceptional man with the biggest heart, he saw the need in others and if possible would fulfill that need. He always believed there were two types of people in the world, givers or takers.
