Ladosky Fennell

May 7, 1925 — October 16, 2009

Eggville - Ladosky Farris Fennell, 84, crossed over to Jordan to be with her Lord, Friday, October 16, 2009, at Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born in the Ballardsville Community on May 7, 1925 to Will and Virgie Farris. Earlier in her life, she worked in several area garment manufacturing plants and later worked at the North Mississippi Medical Center in sterile processing. She married George Fennell in 1981 and they made their home in the Eggville Community. She was a member of First Jesus Name Church of Mantachie. She loved going to church, gospel music, family, grandchildren, great-granchildren and her three special pets, Cookie, Boo and Sue.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ben Raper and Rev. Jacky D. Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, George Fennell, of the Eggville Community; one daughter, Martha Tindol (Tim) of Springhill, Tenn; two sons, Ronald Glidewell (Lani) of Atlanta, Georgia and Mitch Fowler (Anita) of Tupelo; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be Colburn Edwards, Larry Nelson, Eric Glidewell, Lee Fowler, Lorne Thompson, Austin Byrd.

Visitation will be 4 " 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
