KEVIN HERRING

Tupelo - Kevin Brian Herring, 41, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born in Lee County on February 7, 1971 to J L and Kathryn Harlow Herring. After graduation from Tupelo High School in 1989, he attended Itawamba Community College. He was a real estate appraiser and for the past six years had been employed with Patterson Appraisal. He was a member of Belden Baptist Church and also attended First Baptist Church of Shannon. He was an avid Ole Miss Rebel fan. He enjoyed being outdoors, loved duck hunting and especially spending time with Kristi and Cooper.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Don Baggett, Rev. Jim Holcomb and Rev. John Box officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Harlow Herring of Tupelo; brother-in-law, Tony Ingellis of Amory; two nephews, Shane Ingellis of Tupelo and Chris Ingellis of Maumelle, Arkansas; special family, Kristi and Cooper of Shannon.

He was preceded in death by his father, J. L. Herring; his sister, Kathie Ingellis; his grandparents, Purvie and Grace Harlow and Jack and Eula Herring.

Pallbearers will be Bill McNutt, Kevin Patterson, Jessy Patterson, Bob Griggs, Brian Fly, Brent Lindsey, Brian Trocha and Tommy Carruth.

Honorary pallbearers will be the First Baptist Church of Shannon Men?s Softball Team.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Shannon Building Fund, 143 Shannon Avenue, Shannon, MS 38868.

Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
