Kevin Durham

Saltillo- Kevin Brent Durham, 54, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at Darlington Oaks in Verona after an extended illness. A native of Kokomo, Indiana, he was born October 14, 1954 to Daniel and Wilma Jo Gearheart Durham. He was a printing press operator for Mid South Fine Printers and had previously been employed with Barber Printing. He enjoyed playing his guitar, exchanging e-mails with family and friends, gardening and cooking. He was a member of Birmingham Ridge Baptist Church.

Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holland and Dan Buchanan officiating.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 28 years, Sandy Durham of Saltillo; one sister, Cathy Figg-Hoblyn of Clear Lakes, Calif; one brother-in-law, Dan Buchanan and wife, Valerie of Lovettsville, Va.; one sister-in-law, Ethel Warren and husband, Charles, of Terry; his mother, Wilma Jo Gearheart of Santa Rosa, Calif.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Eva Buchanan of Saltillo; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Durham.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to service time Wednesday at the Saltillo funeral home.
