KENNEY H. ROBERTS
Tupelo - Kenneth Horace "Kenny Roberts, 41, died Thursday, June 8, 2006, after a sudden illness. A New Orleans native, he was born August 30, 1964 to Horace Harvey and Jane Franks Roberts. He was a 1982 graduate of Mooreville High School and a charter member of the MHS Trooper Band. He was a resident of the Skyline Coummunity and enjoyed music and wood crafting. He loved his family and friends and his dog, "Bandit." He was a member of Allen's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Sammy Washburn and Rev. Smith Whitesides officiating. Burial will be in Gilvo Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Horace and Jane Roberts of Skyline; one uncle, Gene Roberts of West Point; four aunts, Lois Russell of Tupelo, Maudie Brents of Tupelo, Doris Decker of West Point, and Louise Breitkreitz of West Point.
Pallbearers will be Sid Russell, Phil Smith, Steve Franks, Jeff Franks, Wayne Decker, Eddie Decker, Ronnie Roberts, Terry Roberts, Bill Breitkreutz, Glenn Roberts
Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy McCollum, Gene Knight, Barry Gray, Brett Pierce.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
