Kenney McAllister

Tupelo - Kenney Marie McAllister, 49, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at her home. She was born in Swenden, England on February 11, 1962, to Robert Arlen and Barbara Bernadette Gallagher McAllister. She moved to Tupelo in 2006 from Columbus. She was a long-time employee of Trans-Power. She was an active member of Hope Church and participated every week with Sunday School. An animal lover, she lived and breathed for her dogs.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Hope Church with Rev. David Ball and Rev. Scooter Noland officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one sister, Janet Williams and her son, Cody, of Grapevine, Texas; two brothers, Robert McAllister and his children, Bobby, Courtney and Katie and Denis McAllister and his children, Karine and Rory, all of Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will follow the services until 1 p.m. at the Church.
