Kenneth Montgomery

Kenneth Montgomery Toccopola Community- On September 22, 2014, Kenneth Montgomery went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior. He was 69 years old. He was born of the late Emsley and Hilda Montgomery. He was a husband, father, Pappa, Pop, Papaw, and a Daddy he didn't have to be. He was as genuine as the rarest of gems, and loving as the purest of souls. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tommy Inmon officiating. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 22 years, his "Bride" as he so lovingly called her, Judy Gentry Montgomery; his daughter, Beth Gaines (Jesse); son, Don Montgomery and their mother Jewel Montgomery; daughters, Allison Stegall (Kevin Rowan), Twila Smith (Nichole Doss); his brothers, Jackie Montgomery (Peggy), Steve Montgomery (Lisa), Tommy Montgomery (Linda), David Montgomery (Cathy), Bentley Montgomery (Melody) and Bobby Heard (Kim); seven grandchildren, LaDonna, Brittney, Cheyenne, Dakota, Rhett, McKinley and Tyler and two great grandchildren, Jace and Chloe; many dear friends; multiple nieces and nephews and lastly, but certainly not least, his precious dogs, Sue and Joey. A special thank you to the staff of The North Mississippi Medical Center 2West and his precious nurse he so dearly loved Mary Leigh Lipscomb. Those precious people at Sanctuary Hospice, especially nurse Shelia Cockrell.
