Guntown - Kenneth McNinch, 60, died Saturday, January 3, 2009, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis after a sudden illness. He was born May 31, 1948 in Tupelo to Hubert and Audrey Curry McNinch. He was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. He loved fishing, laughing, making other people laugh and spending time with his grandchildren.
Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo with Rev. Eddie Boutwell officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery (East of Plantersville).
Survivors include one daughter, Mitzi Lane and husband, Jerre of Saltillo; two sons, Clint McNinch and wife, Jeannie of Saltillo and Matthew McNinch of Warner Robins, Georgia; one brother, Thomas McNinch and wife, Diane, of the Unity Community, East of Saltillo; seven grandchildren, Nicole McNinch, Taylor McNinch, Drake McNinch, Mackenzie Lane, Makarthy Lane, Chambers Lane and Channing Lane, all of Saltillo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sue Litke; and one brother, Gerald McNinch.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Curry, Perry Curry, Allen Sparks and Daniel McNinch.
Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
