June 9, 1947 — May 23, 2009

Tupelo " Kenneth Wayne (Ken) McCarty, Sr., 61, went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2009 after a short battle with cancer. He was born June 9, 1947 to W. O. McCarty and Mary Alice Lucas McCarty. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and dirt track racing. He liked playing with his dog, Sandy and his two cats Tiger and Lily. But most of all he loved being with his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was known for his big heart.
