Ozark, Ala.--Kenneth Lackey, a native of Shannon, died Friday, Dec.21, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medial Center, near his home of Ozark, Ala. after a brief illness.
A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with his nephew, Jay Hatcher, officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Shannon.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Cindy Lackey of Ozark, Al.
Two grandsons, Matthew Templin of Ozark, Al and Thomas Templin of Dothan, Al...
Four sisters, Marie Mask of Shannon, Judy Stanford of Fulton, Jane Sullivan of Bowling Green, Ky. and Carolyn Hatcher of Dumas.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruby Nell and daughter Kathy, his mother and father Walter and Lois Lackey, a sister Ruby Nell Thompson and a brother John Ed Lackey.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be all of his nephews.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
