Saltillo - Kenneth Gabe Jourdan, infant son of Gary Don Jourdan and Kitda (Shelane) Hanson, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born February 27, 2009. He was greatly loved by his parents, friends, and extended family.
Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holland officiating. Private graveside services will follow in Fellowship Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Kitda (Shelane) Hanson and Gary Don Jourdan, of Lake Piomingo; two sisters, Skylar McKenzi and Lakyn Grace Jourdan, both of Saltillo; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth (Kenny) Charles and Judy L. Hanson of Lake Piomingo; his paternal grandmother, Fannie Mae Jourdan of Saltillo; and his maternal great-grandmother, Winnie Banker of Saltillo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Don Jourdan; his maternal great-grandfather, Charles Hanson; and his maternal great-grandparents, Buddy and Ruth Barnes.
Pallbearers will be Brian Landphere, Wendell Jourdan and Ricky Dial.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shaun Barnes, Todd Patterson, Ronnie Barnes, Ronnie Yoe, and Gary Barnett.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Saltillo.
