Kenneth Wade Adams
SALTILLO - Kenneth Wade Adams, 72, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at his residence in Saltillo after a sudden illness. He was born Sept. 5, 1933, in Fulton to the late Bennie and Audrey Swain Adams. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was retired from American Motors in Kenosha, Wisc. and also worked as a products engineer at Chrysler Corp. and JAC Products in Detroit, Mich. He enjoyed golf and working in his yard. An active member of the Saltillo Baptist church, he served as an usher and well as other duties with the church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with the Rev. Justin Gates and Ray Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Saldan and husband, Nick, of Lawrence, Kan., and Kaye Rowland and husband, Buddy, of Blue Springs; a stepdaughter, Tammy Lake and husband, Wayne, of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Jean Graham and husband, Johnnie; one brother, Jerry Adams of Kenosha, Wisc.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Seiwald, Matthew and Hannah Saldan, Christopher and Julius Rowland, Andrew Travis and Justin and Clarice Lake.
Pallbearers will be Travis Edge, Bob Tolar, Gene Tice, Joe Childers, Frank Long, Gene Spearman, Bill Williams and Ray Oliver.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home in Saltillo.
