Saltillo - Keith Noel Smith, 52, known to his friends simply as Jethro, died peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at his home.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his mother, Jewel Bumpers Smith; a brother, Kenny Dek Smith; a sister, Vickie Elaine Eaton; one daughter, Shannon Leigh Cox; one son, Kody Garrison Smith; two grandsons, Klayton Nathaniel Cox and Konner Noel Cox; numerous nieces and nephews; three half sisters, Margaret Bromwell, Kimberly Smith, and Janalyn Smith; a stepbrother, Chuck Groves, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Marcus Smith, Jr. (Bey) and his grandparents, Noel and Delzie Bumpers and Marcus and Isabell Smith.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
