Kaye Doyle

PlantersvilleElizabeth Katie Doyle, 60, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the Tallahatchie Co. General Hospital after an extended illness. Born September 12, 1950, she was the daughter of Ruby D. and Dudley Colston. She was a graduate of Baldwyn High School and ICC where she was a majorette and involved in the band. She was a dedicated registered nurse at the North Mississippi Medical Center and several area nursing homes for over 20 years. In the past she was an active member of Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed singing and playing gospel music on the piano, sunbathing, and spending time with friends and family, but most of all, with her mom, daughters, and grandkids.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Pierce officiating.

Survivors include her mother, Ruby D. Colston of Baldwyn; two daughters, Ashley Winders Hogan (Johnathan) of Guntown and Kristen Doyle Griffin (Jamie) of Woodland; six grandchildren, Christian and Alyssa Tutor, Bently Stephens, Jamison Parker, all of Guntown, and Clayton and Tanner Griffen of Woodland.
