Tupelo- Kathy Boneill Gann died peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, one day shy of her 72nd birthday. She was born in Guin, Alabama to James “Hershel” Gann and Helen Ophilea Nicholson Gann. Kathy had a joyful spirit and enjoyed the simplicities of life. Kathy found joy in drawing, listening to Southern gospel and country music, singing, watching western movies, and spending time with her family. While her health allowed, she was a faithful member of Eggville Free Will Baptist Church.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Helen Gann, and her brother, the Rev. Dr. Gerald Gann and his wife, Brenda, of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hershel Gann.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the church.
Services honoring Kathy’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2024, at Eggville Free Will Baptist Church with her brother, the Rev. Dr. Gerald Gann officiating. Burial will be at the Memorial Gardens in Winfield, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Paul Gann, Chris Whitehead, Gavin Gann, Rylee Whitehead, Eddie Thompson, and Joe Lolley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gabriel Gann and Ryder Franks.
Memorials may be made to Eggville Free Will Baptist Church.
