Kathy Carlock

Tupelo Kathy Waters Carlock, 57, died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A Tupelo native and lifelong resident, she was born November 23, 1952, to William Bill and Betty Jo Ballard Waters. She was the bookkepper for George Ruff Buick, Olds in Tupelo for 24 years. She was an avid Ole Miss fan and loved animals, especiall her dog, Sparky.

While private services for the family will be held at a later date, visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors on Jefferson Street.

Survivors include two daughters, Deana Carlock and Traci Carlock, both of Tupelo; two sisters, Brenda Britt (Carl) of Lexington and Patty Tucker of Tupelo; one brother, Billy Waters (Susanne) of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three nieces, Stefanie Oliver (Rodney) of Tupelo, Jaime Lyn Trotter (Beau) of Denver, Co., and Ashley Strebe (Paul) of Murfreesboro; three nephews, Bo Britt of Lexington, Tad Tucker of Tupelo, and Zack Waters (Sandie) of Murfreesboro; several great-nieces and nephews; her special great-nephew, Jeffrey Oliver of Tupelo.
