KATHRYN MORGAN Tupelo - Sara Kathryn Morgan, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born December 8, 1926 to John Wade and Marie Faulkner Vaughn. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Kathryn was a talented artisan whose artwork is cherished by her family. She was a faithful member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church for over thirty years. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a humble woman of Christ who loved the Lord with all her heart. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Rev. Bert Harper and Rev. Chris O'Daniel officiating. A graveside service will follow at Lee Memorial Park. Survivors include two grandchildren, Vickie Morgan Cochran (Josh) and Brad Morgan; three great-grandchildren, Chase Morgan, Bella Cochran and Beau Cochran all of Tupelo; one sister, Helen Morton (Clell) of Franklin, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Morgan; her only son, Larry Morgan and one brother, J. W. Vaughn. Visitation will be 9 - 11 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
