Kathleen Tate Schumpert

KATHLEEN TATE SCHUMPERT Horn Lake, MS - KATHLEEN TATE SCHUMPERT, 88, passed away March 30, 2014. She is survived by her two children, Roger Daniel Schumpert (Judy) of Bridgeport, TX and Janie Schumpert Fitton of Horn Lake, MS and her brother, Romie Tate (Wade) of Memphis, TN. She was one of seven children. She had three grandchildren, Tracy, Marc (Joy) and Scott Schumpert and four great grandchildren, Christian, Carson, Carleigh and Cale Schumpert, all of N. Richland Hills, TX. She worked for Sears for 26 years at Poplar and Crosstown. She played the piano for Oakhaven Baptist Church in Memphis for 14 years and was known for her rendition of Amazing Grace. Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 12 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. at W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors, Tupelo, MS. Burial will follow in Verona Cemetery in Verona, MS.
