KATHLEEN M. JORDAN

Belden - Kathleen M. Jordan, 91, a widow for 33 years, died Friday, March 3, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A St. Louis native, she was born December 6, 1914 to the late Frederick and Anne McCormick Runge. She was retired from Carson Pirie Scott and Co. Dept. Store in Chicago after 20 years of service. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching "Wheel." She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2006 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Henry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, JoAnne Jordan Ethridge and husband, Tom, of Belden; one son, Joseph Jordan and wife, Deborah, of Papillion, NE; six grandchildren, Tommy Ethridge of Tupelo, Amalia Mayfield and husband, Paul, of Phoenix, Julia Monteverde and husband, Renee of Tucson, Jon Jordan of Lincoln, NE, Samantha Jordan of Papillion, NE, and Addison Jordan of Papillion; two great-grandchildren, Houghton Mayfield and Mary Mayfield; one cousin, Jerry Baldas of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Edward Jordan; one sister, Julia Runge King; one brother, Msgr. Fenton Runge.

Pallbearers will be Sam Adolphson, Gary Bridges, Matt Bridges, Ed Fandel, Jerry Levy, and Dennis Wilson.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday, at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The St. James Catholic Church Building Fund or The Will Owens Scholarship Fund at 874 Lakeshire, Tupelo, MS 38801.
