Palmetto Community Kathleen Kat Williams, 78, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at her residence after a sudden illness. A native Itawamba County, she was born September 25, 1932 to McGee and Winnie Walton Unfress. She was retired as Personal Manager of Hunter Sadlers. She loved her family, traveling and camping and especailly loved to visit Mt. View Arkansas. She was a member of Palmetto Methodist Church.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Lance Presley officiating. Burial will be in Palmetto Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, James C. "Bear" Williams of Palmetto Community; one daughter, Debbie Mackey (Jimmy) of Birmingham Ridge Community; one son, Bruce Allen (Joanna)Willams; one daughter-in-law, Julia Presley of Palmetto; one sister Bobbie (Kenneth) Presley of Pearl; one brother, Lowery Tackett of Tupelo; 5 grand-children, Rev. Lance (Page) Presley of Gulfport, Tracey Easter of Nashville, TN, Maria Presley of Atlanta, GA, Anna Williams and Joe Williams both of Palmetto Community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ricky Presley; one sister, June Tackett.

Pallbearers will be Nicky Williams, Mark Williams, Matthew Williams, Wade Williams, Casey Williams and Charles Wade.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010 at the funeral home.
