June Edwards Drummond went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 20, 2011, while being hospitalized at Northeast Mississippi Medical Center after a long and valiant battle with heart disease. She was born June 1 in Tupelo and married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, William Drummond, for 30 years.

She was a leader during her high school career at West Point High School where she graduated in 1957. Always devoted to her children she served as homeroom mother for many years, gave the most creative birthday parties, and large Easter Eggs Hunts. It was her delight to give special and sentimental gifts to those she loved. June enjoyed crafting as a hobby.
