Fulton - Julia Budd ?Dooley? Garner, 81, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born August 20, 1931 in Lee County to William and Clara Rutherford. She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, Guntown. She loved to cook and sew. For the past twenty years, she and her husband, Charlie, lived at the Midway Marina in Fulton. There she flourished surrounded by many good friends.
Memorial services will be held at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church at a later date.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-seven years, Charlie Garner of the Midway Marina Community; one brother, Jim Rutherford; her aunt, Mary Kate O?Shields; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Arnold; her parents; two brothers, Bill and Bob Rutherford; three sisters, Beverly Davis, Martha Swann and Carolyn Bowman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BridgePoint Oncology Center, 961 S. Gloster Street, Tupelo, MS 38801.
