JUDY EVANS PARSONS Tupelo - Judy Evans Parsons died Friday, December 28, 2012, at her residence after a lengthy illness. A native and lifelong resident of Tupelo, she was the daughter of William Edgar and Annie Burress Evans. She was married to Lt. Col. Harold Parsons, Miss. Army National Guard, Ret., who preceded her in death. She retired from South Central Bell after thirty years of service. She enjoyed interior designing, decorating and loved shopping at Pier One Imports and Hobby Lobby. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Tupelo where she attended the adult singles Sunday school class. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Dave Jenson officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Julie Anna McAdory of Madison; one sister, Janet Evans Brazelton (Danny D. Brazelton, Sr.) of Paris, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Jason Evans Rinehart, Jimmy McAdory and Jessica Rinehart Redden; three great-grandchildren, Michael and Meghan Rahner and Hannah Redden; her nieces and nephews, Ann Savery Lyons, Jim Savery, Danny Brazelton, Jr., Jenny Brazelton Shuler, Edgar Pearson Brazelton, Jill Brazelton McDonald and Gay Nell Brazelton Gore. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Mark Evans Rinehart and Billy Dale Jay Rinehart, Jr.; one sister, Joan Evans Savery; two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jayson Rinehart, Jim Savery, Wes Redden, Jason Sanders, Sonny Lyons, Danny Brazelton, Jr., and Ed Brazelton.
