Judy Jones

Judy Jones Tupelo - Beloved wife, mother, and dear friend to many, Eleanor Judith Bouchelle Jones passed away peacefully at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo on Sunday August 4, 2013. Judy was born in 1943 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina to William and Eleanor Bouchelle. As a graduate of the University of Mississippi she received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Southern Studies. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Tupelo and her beloved Mutual Culture Club. She was a Girl Scout leader for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Rick; two sons, David and Jeff; two daughters, Gwen and Caroline; two sisters, Pat and Rebecca; her loving mother, Eleanor; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father William Bouchelle and two sons, Rich and Jonathan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo where Judy was a volunteer for about 5 years. Visitation will begin at 1pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm on Wednesday August 7th at First Presbyterian Church in Tupelo. 400 W. Jefferson St., Tupelo, MS 38804.
