Mooreville - Joyce Fennell Myhand, 74, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her residence near Mooreville. She was born in Guntown on December 10, 1940 to Wade Lamar White, Sr. and Thema Rush White Bishop. She was a sewing machine operator and had worked in a number of area furniture manufacturing plants. Joyce loved flowers and especially enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens. She was an avid reader and loved southern gospel music. Her joy in life was the special times spent with her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildrn, and great-great grandchildren. Joyce was a faithful member of Skyline Baptist Church. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Castor Buse and Rev. Terry Myhand officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery east of Saltillo. Survivors include friend and special companion, George Fennell of Mantachie; her children, Margaret Jones (Ricky), Ronald Bean (Joyce), Robert Bean all of Mooreville, Tina Baswell (Bobby) of Amory, Kelly Anderson of Amory, Lise` Lindsey(Rickey) of Mooreville, Allen Myhand (Anita) of Corinth, Thomas Myhand (Wendy) of Baldwyn and Darlene Myhand Roberts of Skyline; her mother, Thelma Rush Bishop; her brothers and sisters, Dianne Donahue, Sherry Melson, Georgie Pike, Dazzie Fowler, Wade White Jr. and Jerry Smith. She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Evis Myhand; a daughter, Tammy Myhand; two sisters, Wilma Smith and Bonnie Johnson; two brothers, Harold White and Terry Smith. Pallbearers will be Ricky Jones Jr., Austin Lindsey, Derik Anderson, Bobby Baswell, Billy Stringfield Jr., Cody Campbell, and Justin Derrick. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, May13, 2015, and 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the funeral home.
