Saltillo - JOYCE ANGELIQUE CARTER, 39, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at her sisters residence after a brief illness. A Tupelo native, she was born March 18, 1968 to Brenda Joyce Ellis Carter and the late Gerald Ray Carter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will be in McNeil Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Brenda Joyce Carter of Saltillo; two sons, Jeramy and Jason Carter; two sisters, Enchantra Hawkes (Tootie) and Suzie Miller all of Saltillo; three brothers, Micheal Carter of Saltillo, Jay E. and Joey Carter of California; two nieces, Jaycee Hawkes and Sharon Carter of Saltillo; six nephews, Daron Hitchcock, Michael Lee Carter, Jaylon Carter, Jaycob Hawkes, Johnathon Carter and Rickey Dial, all of Saltillo; and aunts, Helen McLarty and Sally Parker both of Saltillo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Ray Carter.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
