JOSEPHINE PARIVECHIO-PASTIS Tupelo - Josephine Parivechio Pastis, 72, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, a few days before her 73rd birthday after a brief illness. She was born in Santa Barbara, California on January 25, 1940. She lived her life in Marietta, Georgia but had recently moved to Tupelo to be closer to her family. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at the funeral home followed by stateroom services at 7 p.m. Monday at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo. Survivors include her children, Jack L. Pastis and wife Chantana and Antonia Hankins; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jay and Kelly Pastis (Jacob and McKenzie), Alexis and Jason Glidewell (Nicholas and Carson), Andrew Pastis (Layla and Talon), Anthony and Noel Pastis (Isabella) and T.J. and Callie Richey (Rylan). She was preceded in death by parents, James and Lillian Parivechio; two sons, Anthony James Pastis and Nicholas James Pastis; her brother, James Parivechio, Jr. and "Tupelo" her devoted and most loved dachshund.
