Joseph Montana " Jo " Lindsey

Mooreville - Joseph Jo Hooch Montana Lindsey, 21, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, after injuries sustained in an automobile/cycle accident. He was born December 13, 1989 to Richard Carey and Wanda L. Fennell Lindsey and lived all his life in Mooreville. He was a graduate of Mooreville High School. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed by M & N Construction. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Spending time with his family and friends, football, and riding his dirt bike and four wheeler were among the favorite things he enjoyed doing. After his marriage he was a totally devoted family man. He was an active member of Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Pierce and Rev. Terry Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the private Lindsey Family cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of almost 2 years, Kaylah Lindsey of Mooreville; one step-son Nate King of the home; his parents, Richard and Wanda Lindsey of Mooreville; two brothers Jonathan Barnard (Stefanie) of Guntown and Rickey Lindsey (Lise') of Mooreville; two sisters, Suzanne Randle (Brian) of East Union and Amy Cates (Jamie) of Mantachie; his maternal grandparents, Benson and Flora Fennell of Mooreville; eleven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reid and Tammy Lindsey.

Pallbearers will be Chip Riner, Dalton Riner, Jason Lyle, Steven Fennell, Marty Holloway Jr, Steven Anderson, and Zack Rutledge.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cagney Parker, Ben Franks, Chris Lewis and Austin Lindsey.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time Friday at the church.
