JOHNNY CLARK

Guntown - Johnny Clark, 61, died Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Lee County native, he was born October 26, 1944 to the late Osley and Odean Hardy Clark. He was an avid fisherman and a fan of dirt track racing. He had been employed as an upholsterer in the furniture business. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2006 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Dale Ray Clark of Harvard, Ill.; four sisters, Dorothy Sanders of Guntown, Mary Weaver of Saltillo, Ruby Dillard and husband, John, of Sherman, and Rebecca Wilson of Guntown; a special friend, Wayne Riddle of Guntown; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Burma Barnes and Nada Creech.

Pallbearers will be Tim Howell, Craig Sanders Robby Wilson, Roger Dillard, Joe Felks, and Ed Felks.
