JOHN BOLEN Tupelo - John Turner Bolen, 80, died Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. He was born October 1, 1934, to Eugene Pruitt and Cecil Elizabeth Hendrix Bolen. John retired in 2000 from Super Sagless, Inc. as a maintenance supervisor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holland officiating. Graveside services will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Liz Campbell Bolen of Tupelo; two children, Cathy Talbot (Michael) of Tupelo and Randy Bolen (Gina) of Sherman; three grandchildren, Dylan Talbot of Brandon, Cory Bolen (Christy) of Tupelo and Megan Bolen Jones (Bradley) of Dorsey; three great-grandchildren, Kyleigh and Gemma Jones, and Trevor Bolen; and one sister, Mary Holloway of Sherman. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Herbert Bolen, Dewell Bolen and Leon Bolen; and one sister, Helen Coker. Pallbearers will be Paul Coker, Chad White, David Holloway, Bradley Jones, and Charles Hannah. Honorary Pallbearer will be John Ellis. Visitation will be 2 until 3 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
