Tupelo - John Edward Bell, 30, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Tupelo native and lifelong resident, he was born March 9, 1981. to John and Joy Bell. He was a graduate of Tupelo High School and then attended Itawamba Community College. He worked for the Furniture Outlet in Tupelo. He enjoyed reading, fishing, spending time outdoors and with his daughter. He was very expressive of his love for his family through actions and words.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bryan Collier officiating.
Survivors include his daughter, Mya Ann Bell of Tupelo; his parents, John and Joy Bell of Tupelo; his sister, Amy Schultz of Olive Branch; three nieces, Caroline Watson, Emma Grace Watson, and Lillian Schultz; and a nephew, Logan Schultz.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward E. and Patricia Bell and Kelly and Lucille Whiteside; a sister, Angela Renee Bell.
Josh Clayton, Ben Elmore, Luke Holliman, Brian Connor, and Justin Wood will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
