Joe Levy 

Tupelo- Joseph Howard Levy, age 86, died at Diversicare on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Joe was born on December 30, 1937; he is the son of Harry and Sadie Horhovitz Levy. He was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On March 15, 1958, he married Linda Blatt Levy. Almost 30 years ago, they moved to Tupelo to take over Linda’s father’s company, Tupelo Lighting Center. He was an active member of Temple B'nai Israel in Tupelo. 

Joe is survived by his wife, Linda; three children, Richard Levy (Sarah), Renee Barnes, and Anita Sisk; and four grandchildren, Stephanie Barnes, Seven Barnes, Jace Sisk, and Benjamin Sisk.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sandi Levy Goldburg. 

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. at Temple B'nai Israel on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. 

Memorial may be made, in lieu of flowers, to Temple B'nai Israel, Post Office Box 515, Tupelo, MS 38802-515 or charity of your choice.
