JOANN FOWLER Richmond Community - JoAnn Sullivan Fowler, 80, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 24, 2014, at her residence after a sudden illness. A life-long resident of the Richmond Community, she was born September 11, 1933, to Clifton and Ossie Baldwin Rhudy. For fifteen years, she owned and operated J & A Fish and Steak in the Evergreen Community. She was a wonderful cook and was famous for her peanut butter cake. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. For many years, she attended Richmond Pentacostal Church. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2014, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ricky Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Holley (Jimmy) of Amory ; two sons, Eddie Sullivan (Janett) of Tupelo and Ronnie Sullivan (Valerie) of Tupelo; seven grandchildren, Brian Sullivan (Karen), Chris Holley (Kim), Jon David Sullivan (Carmen), Shay Holley Steele (Nathan), Leigh Ann Sullivan Whitehead (Dan), Mallory Sullivan and Grant Sullivan; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Porter Rhudy; and one sister, Mary Lou Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Rhudy; three sisters, Lavelle Morris, Tanell Sheffield and Lorene Presley; one grandson, Keith Holley; the father of her children, Nute Sullivan and second husband, William Fowler. Pallbearers will be Brian Sullivan, Jon David Sullivan, Chris Holley, Grant Sullivan, Davis Webb, Logan Webb, Dan Whitehead and Glen Rhudy. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The Sanctuary Hospice House, PO Box 2177, Tupelo, MS 38803.
