JO HARWELL KITCHENS Memphis - Jo Herndon Harwell Kitchens, 74, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at her residence in Memphis. She was born in Tupelo on April 25, 1938, to Walter Herbert and Mary Virginia Herndon Harwell. After graduation from Tupelo High School, she attended the University of Mississippi. She was a Methodist. She enjoyed cooking, shopping for antiques and playing bridge. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at Tupelo Memorial Park with Rev. Hershel Wiygul officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include her daughter, Ginger Brown (Mark) of Cordova, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Matthew David and Courtney Paige Brown; and one brother, Walter Harwell, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Port Orange, Florida.
