Jimmy Lee Boling Jr.
TUPELO - Jimmy Lee Boling Jr., 52, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born July 7, 1954, in Clarksdale to Jimmy Lee Boling Sr. and Bobbie Nell Pettitt. He had lived in Tupelo since 1982. He had been a security guard and factory worker until he became disabled. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Guntown. He enjoyed playing dominoes and fishing and loved to sing gospel music and play with his nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. Merle Floyd officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens in Clarksdale.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Burleson of Tupelo; one sister, Barbara Thrasher and Roger of Mantachie; one brother, Johnny Boling of Tupelo; two nieces, Barbara Smith of Mantachie and Sherry Thrasher of Tupelo; one nephew, William Merchant of Nettleton; two great-nieces and two great-nephews; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Smith, William Merchant, Tommy Clark, Will Tackett and Steven Childers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
