Jeya Suppiah

JEYA "JAY" SUPPIAH Verona - Jeya Suppiah, 46, died Friday, November 30, 2012 in Verona. Born September 26, 1966 in Malaysia, he came to the United States and earned a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi in 1993. As an entrepreneur he sold vehicles, owned and managed properties, and was involved in numerous business ventures. He was well known for making people smile, selflessly giving his time to help others, and being a hard-working and honest friend. Jay is survived by his father, brother, and sister in Malaysia. Jay proudly became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 2006. A Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 in Tupelo where Jay was an active member with Father Tom Lalor and Father Joe Dyer presiding. The Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at the funeral home and continue Saturday at the Church beginning at 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be made to Saint James Catholic Church, 845 Lakeshire Drive, Tupelo, Miss. 38804.
