TupeloJettie Taylor, 80, died Monday, February 13, 2006, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born September 17, 1925 to the late Otis and Trannie Walton Gray. She was a member of Boguefala Baptist Church in Mooreville and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with the Rev. Grady Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include a son, David E. Taylor and wife, Candis, of Guntown; three grandchildren, Amber Taylor and fianc Bill Malone of Tupelo, Amanda Taylor and Andrew Taylor, both of Guntown; a sister Eva Chilcoat and husband, Jack, of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joe Earl Taylor who died May 21, 2001; and four brothers, Walter Gray, Etoile Gray, George Gray, and Billy Gray.
Pallbearers will be Danny Digby, Johnny Adams, Randy Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Petey Hopkins, and Carson Wallace.
Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
Visitation will continue from 12 noon until service time on Wednesday.
