Jerry Allen Scott

JERRY SCOTT Tupelo - Jerry passed away on July 20, 2015. He was born to the late Harse and Annie Doris Farrar Scott in Saltillo, MS on December 27, 1938. He attended school in Saltillo and worked many years for DayBrite Lighting until retiring. He is survived by his son, Jerry Clay Scott of Atlanta,Georgia.; one brother, Hubert Scott of J.P. Coleman State Park; three sisters, Linda Owen, husband Billy, of Blue Springs, Jo Johnson, husband Charlie, of Tupelo, and Peggy Byrd, husband Don, of Saltillo; one sister-in- law, Betty Scott of Shannon; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special aunt, Eula Ray Miller (known as Baby Ray); and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Scott, one son, Gregory Allen Scott; two brothers, Harseton Scott and Jim Scott. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Roger Smith at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues on Thursday at 11:00 a.m., July 23, 2015. Burial will be at the Saltillo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Mike, Ricky, Mark and Matt Scott, Butch Scott, Bill and Scott Owen and Todd Ellis. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo
